Yet one more Make it Monday - Sympathy Card
I used the Larger than Life stamp set and dies, I used a banner die and the sentiment "with sympathy" is from the Round & Round Anniversary set. there is a little bit of the gingham stamp under the banner. I tried using the gingham for the whole background, but I sure had trouble lining up the stamp...so I gave up and just added a little strip on the side.

Another Make It Monday #16: Sympathy Cards
I can't believe I am on a roll with sympathy cards, a couple of weeks back I really needed a couple and just could not make one...I guess I felt too bad and just didn't take the time to make one, or I wasn't inspired at the time. It really helped to see Dawn focus on a sympathy card for the Make It Monday series...now I will have a couple in my stash for when I need them.
I used vintage cream card stock and stamped with flowers from both Sending You and Beautiful Blooms II..the sentiment is again from Beyond Basic Borders. I used Raspberry Fizz and Sweet Blush, I used Ripe Avocado for the leaves.

Make It Monday #16: Sympathy Cards
Another Make it Monday on the PTI Blog...Dawn did a video on making a sympathy card...keeping it simple, elegant yet classic. Hope I did all those things...I used Asian Fusion for the vase, stamped and cut out, I used the Leaves from Blooming Button Bits and added flowers from Beautiful Blooms !!...some of the other leaves around the vase are from Turning a New Leaf. My sentiment is from Beyond Basic Borders stamped onto one of the Banner Dies.

Make It Monday #15: Make Your Own Spray Mists
I don't have many reinkers...but I did have Hibiscus Burst and Simply Chartreuse...so I went with those colors. Actually I read ahead about the Blog Hop coming up on PTI on the 25th of the month and it is all about flowers. I started thinking about what I could do with flowers that might be a bit different. I decided to put some flowers into the 'Tea Pot' from the Tea for Two set. Unfortunately the picture doesn't show all the glimmer, but I did spritz the Spring Moss paper with the simply chartreuse and perfect pearls before I embossed it with a cuttlebug folder. The hibiscus burst edger paper was also sprayed with the reinker and perfect pearls. For added glimmer, I used a versamark pen and drew over the embellishments on the pot, then added the perfect pearl with the paint brush just like Jennifer did. I also added some to the flowers, but the picture isn't showing all the glimmer. The bow is from a shiny organza and I used a Tiny Label and stamped "for you" on it. I think this is a great technique to get a lot of extra shimmer and shine to the paper. Thank you Jennifer for showing us how to do this with the product we might have on hand!
