CAS(E) this Sketch # 192

Hi Friends, today I am playing with CAS(E) this Sketch:
I love the background paper (PTI Fall Prints & Patterns) it is so soft and subtle, yet adds a lot to the
Card
Here is what I used:
MFT Fall Foliage
Kina K: Beautiful World
PTI Falling Leaves
My Norwegian house guest has returned home.  I had a wonderful time with her and now it is time for me to get back in the craft room.  My DH asked me this morning if I had one more day in me to help out in the yard before the rains come.  GGRRR, I want to play, but I guess I will be playing with "dirt" instead of paper!!
Maybe he will let me sneak away for some breaks... after all the Rider Cup is on, so I know he will be wanting some breaks too!!
For Me, TGIF!!
Have a good one!

Merry Monday by Kathy ~ using something warm!

A nice warm fire and a cozy quilt with a good book is the perfect cold winter day remedy.
Our Merry Maker Kathy wants us to make a card using something warm on those cold days and nights of winter!.  I started out in one direction (thinking how good a HOT chocolate would warm me from the inside out!) But then I settled on this PTI Quilted Winter stamp set and knew that is what I love most...being wrapped in the warmth of a quilt!
I am anxious to see what inspires you to keep warm during your winter days!
I hope you will join us this week at the Merry Monday Christmas Card Challenge!!

CAS Mix Up September Challenge

Hi Friends!
I had a free day to play along with the CAS Mix Up September Challenge!  My house guest was at the beach and I had my shaving cream sitting on my desk waiting for me to use it!
I made about 6 pages of marbling using fallish colors of yellows, oranges, greens, even dropping in some purples and some reds.  My thought was to use leaves and pumpkins...I just love fall!!  And I love how these colors turned out, perfect for each of the things I wanted to die cut!!

Stamps & dies:  PTI Autumn Pumpkins
 Lil' Inkers Stitched leaves
 MFT Fall Foliage (sentiment)

I used shaving cream and reinkers for the marbling, die cuts and stamping.
I think you have until the 24th to enter your card!
this was a very fun technique and I have lots left over to use for other cards!

Seize the Birthday joins the Altenew Ultimate Challenge Blog Hop!!

Seize the Birthday was asked to join in an Altenew Ultimate Challenge Blog Hop!
And we were so excited to join in the fun, not to mention being so honored to be asked!!  I used the new "Remember This" stamp set and I selectively fussy cut the left side and the bottom.
I needed a thank you card for some family members who made all of our food for a big Italian family reunion (71 in attendance!) and thought this card would be extra special for them.  And these ladies are in their 70's...I think they crashed the next day and probably didn't move too much.  But that is how they are...they give and give and do it all out of LOVE!  And we love them for it and appreciate them so much!
My dad who is going to by 95 asked for a thank you card he could send them, because we were honoring him turning 95 years old, and they really made it a special meal.
So this will be sent to the two sisters who did most of the work, but many other hands were involved in the planning and cooking of the meal, not to mention the clean-up!  You know what they say, it takes a village to feed an Italian family!!  (they do say that don't they? *wink)

Head over to the Seize the Birthday Blog and check out the hop!

Merry Monday Challenge by Debbie

Are you excited about getting back to making your Christmas card stash grow?
Well, Merry Monday is here to help, and today Debbie is our Merry Maker asking us to use her photo for inspiration!
I used the dies from the Casual Friday's stamp: Bring on the Snowflakes, it was part of the Holiday collection from Catherine Pooler last year.
I loved the red and white theme, but I also loved all the red and white snowflakes, so I decided to die cut them with white and place it on top of a red card, inserting some of the white pieces.  My sentiment is from Lawn Fawn: Snowy Backdops.

Thanks friends to stopping by and by playing with us, we look forward to seeing your card in the gallery!!

From Black and White to Color MIM # 260

I loved the MIM and Danielle's video  HERE.
I wasn't trying to be too fancy, but I think I did make it harder for myself by trying to mask some of the images...it is what I had pictured in my mind...you know how that goes!
It took me a few tries to get it right, after I did this one, I did one other, more like the one Danielle did in her video and just stamped away...oh and then I forgot what I was doing and colored in the WHOLE thing!  Well, shoot, forget about the black and white!!
so this is the THIRD card made for this challenge..LOL...this time I stamped, then cut out and then only colored in the pieces on the inside of the cute...well, that was much easier!

This is what I used for the first card and the one I am entering:
Autumn Pumpkins
Bold Blossoms (leaves)
PPP Sand sequins
Maya Arts Twine
copics
My second card was stamped with this set:
Bold Blossoms
Give Thanks (sentiment)
Lil' Inkers Stitched Rectangle die
Copics
Nuvo Crystal Drops
Thanks for stopping by friends!!
Hope you have a great week!
Kiddos are back in school, sports has started, will be going to grandaughters Volleyball match tonight, she is wearing the Libero's shirt!!

Just Us Girls # 359 ~ TRAVEL

Pedal Pusher hadn't seen ink in a while, so I pulled it out and was happy to see a basket of leaves and thought this was the perfect season to be collecting leaves and maybe riding through the leaves...although truth be told, the leaves here are mostly still green, however some are changing colors and landing on the ground!
I sponged some ink onto a paper and cut out the small Lil' Inkers stitched leaves and have them blowing out behind the bike!

Please go to the blog and check out what the team has used for their "travel"...lots of different inspiration and ways to use that word for your card!

Colour Q # 357

Joining in the fun color challenge over at Colour Q
I inked up a couple of new PTI sets; Stylized Autumn and Autumn pumpkin.
I used orange zest and hibiscus burst, even sponged on a little bit for the background.
I think that fox is so cute and he does look cute in pink.  This is Kay Miller's first set designed for Papertrey and she showcased this fox in pink for her girl!

Here is the image for your inspiration.
